Постапокаліптичний часопростір у постмодерністських текстах (на матеріалі романів Я. Дукая Старість аксолотля та О. Шинкаренка Кагарлик)

Abstract

It traces the logic of an art design of time and space in postmodern texts in which a fiction world appears as an alternative space. The ebook The Old Axolotl by J. Dukaj and the novel Kaharlyk by O. Shynkarenko offer a vision of modernity or (not) a distant future due to the development of nanotechnology. In these texts, time and space are mutually distinct categories, removing a possibility of a clear vector of art events. A category of time is outdated and moved into the category of artistic conventions. Instead, art space becomes a dominant factor in the creation of artistic reality simulation. A contextual reading of the plot in terms of transhumanistic problems is an important factor for this interpretation. These problems are inherent cyberpunk style. Artistic time and space lose their habitual for their individuality and the logic of the relationship, moving to the unbalanced state of mutual relations (the plot is reasoning pocalyptic situation or the specifics of a post-apocalyptic fiction reality, devoid of principles and norms of historicity and determinism) and acquiring the capacity for multiple/variable existence.
