Bezpośrednie inwestycje zagraniczne a dynamika eksportu

Abstract

Istotnym, względnie trwałym, problemem polskiej gospodarki jest niedostateczna, wobec państw o zbliżonym poziomie rozwoju gospodarczego, dynamika eksportu oraz względnie niekorzystna jego struktura. W pracy przyjęto hipotezę główną: czynnikiem stymulującym dynamikę oraz strukturę eksportu są bezpośrednie inwestycje zagraniczne. Głównym celem pracy jest weryfikacja zależności między dynamiką i strukturą eksportu a napływem bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych w latach 2005-2018. Zgodnie z przyjętą konwencją hipotetyczno-dedukcyjną, dwa pierwsze rozdziały dysertacji poświęcono analizie problemu i hipotezy głównej, a rozdziały 3-6 dotyczą hipotez szczegółowych. Badania teoretyczne rozpoczęto przeglądem specjalistycznej literatury krajowej i zagranicznej. Empiryczna część rozprawy dotyczy analizy zależności między dynamiką i strukturą eksportu trzech sektorów gospodarki a napływem BIZ. Podsumowanie analiz stanowi omówienie wyników badań własnych na populacji 60 przedsiębiorstw bezpośredniego inwestowania z trzech sektorów gospodarki. Ostatecznie dokonano pozytywnej weryfikacji hipotezy głównej, z pewnym zastrzeżeniem. Napływ BIZ jest czynnikiem stymulującym dynamikę oraz strukturę eksportu polskiej gospodarki, w tych obszarach, które decydują o najwyższych korzyściach z uczestnictwa w międzynarodowym podziale pracy.

A significant and relatively permanent problem of the Polish economy is the insufficient growth of exports and their relatively unfavourable structure when compared to other countries at a similar level of economic development. The main hypothesis was adopted in the study: foreign direct investment is a factor stimulating the growth and structure of exports. The main aim of the paper is to verify the relationship between the growth and structure of exports and the inflow of foreign direct investments in the years 2005-2018. In accordance with the adopted hypothetical-deductive method, the first two chapters of the dissertation are devoted to an analysis of the problem and of the general hypothesis, whereas Chapters 3-6 are devoted to detailed hypotheses. The empirical part of the dissertation concerns an analysis of the dependencies existing between growth and structure of exports from three sectors of the economy and the inflow of FDI. A summary of the analyses is a discussion of the results of my own research on a population of 60 direct investment enterprises from three sectors of the economy. Finally, the main hypothesis was positively verified with some reservations. The inflow of FDI is a factor stimulating the growth and structure of exports of the Polish economy in those sectors which generate highest benefits from participation in the international division of labour.
