Сiмволiка фразеалагiзмаў беларускай мовы з кампанентам хата

Abstract

The article presents linguistic and cultural analysis of Belarusian phraseological units with the component “хата/дом” ('house/home’) and interprets the component in the framework of architectural and construction Belarusian cultural code. Used as an individual lexeme, the aforenamed component names one of the most important symbols in Belarusian worldview, which explains its role in creating phraseological units. In the structure of phraseological units the component-name of the symbol adds cultural semantics to these secondary language units, created on the imaginative basis and as a result of reinterpretation of the expressions with this word.
