Проблемы эстетики словесного творчества в эпистолярии А. М. Ремизова

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of aesthetics of wordy creative work as they are reflected in Al. Remizov’s letters. Some principles that touch the selection of vocabulary and construction of phrase in written speech are formulated by Al. Remizov. According to them, a writer must catch the natural tune of the Russian speech, its progress trend set out in the literature of the ХVI–ХVII century and develop a language in this direction. Al. Remizov proclaimed priority of a nice-sounding word. In the syntax of the written speech he recommended to focus on the spoken colloquial language. With regard to the choice of words, the writer gave preference to indigenously Russian vocabulary, he recommended to avoid the use of foreign words. Following the tradition was combined in Al. Remizov’s speech with a language innovation that showed up foremost in word creation. Formation of nonce-words allowed him to go beyond the lexical arsenal that is given at our disposal by the language. Al. Remizov’s letters became the real laboratory of the word, where he sought and found new words, approved the methods of word-formation, demonstrated boundless possibilities of the Russian language to convey new meanings and images and create new expressive lexemes on the base of existent word-formation facilities.
