Формирование риторической компетенции у студентов управленческих специальностей в процессе публичных выступлений

Abstract

Goal – the article proves the importance of study of rhetoric and rhetorical competence forming for administrative specialties students. The experience of public speech training for students on “Public administration” and “Management” specialties in Odessa Regional Institute for Public Administration of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine is presented. Research methodology – the methodological basis of the work consists in comprehensive, interdisciplinary and systemic approaches to the analysis of forming rhetorical competence for administrative specialties students and important components of the system of training in this direction. Synthesis, generalization, comparison, observation, retrospective analysis as well as other general scientific methods were used while research conducting. Score/results – in this article we analyze methods and techniques of forming skills of public speaking for students within the framework of discipline “Rhetoric and business communication”. Originality/value – the originality and novelty of the scientific paper lies in the represented exercises and practical recommendations on forming and perfection of public speech for students of administrative specialties.
