Miejsca „pustoszejące” i rzeczy, które „jeszcze pamiętają”. O jednym z wymiarów doświadczenia utraty w poezji Stanisława Piętaka

Abstract

This study presents phenomenon of loss in Stanisław Piętak's poetry as a psychological issue. The problem included, interalia: a characteristic way of creation of some poetic visions related to motive of homecoming, a genesis of these depictions, a dominant function of sight. The discussed phenomenon are illustrated by selected poems from three last volumes of Piętak's poetry: Hapiness and Suffering (1958), Between the Elements ( 1960) and Incantations (1963). The phenomenological method was used in this article. The author of this study attempts to explain why an imagination is complementary to memories in poetic creations. The analysis leads to the conclusion that the loss is an immanent part of the person's identity and poetic images presented in the article could have therapeutic properties in the psychoanalytical meaning.
