Budowanie odpowiedzialności w kulturze edukacji uniwersyteckiej

Abstract

The first part of the text regards the concept of responsibility as one of the key categories in pedagogy. Next, the author discusses the conditions for the existence of responsibility by recalling the thought of Roman Ingarden. In the further part of the article, responsibility is viewed as a specifically human characteristic in the context of the situation of dialogue and meeting. The author proposes to locate academic education in the context of the philosophy of dialogue. As it is argued, the teacher-student relations can be understood as meetings that create space for an authentic dialogue.
