W laboratorium współczesności, czyli teatralne przestrzenie młodego polskiego dramatu

Abstract

The article refers to the discussion on the so-called post-dramatic theatre and the new status of the literary text in the theatre. It deals with a choice of theatric drama production by young authors interested in studying the present day. An interesting artistic genre used in the adaptations of these dramas is the style which can contractually be called “laboratory”. The notion of “laboratory” as used here has a twofold meaning. It describes a painful, brutally concrete vivisection of Polish realities, which takes place in a cool, purposefully dream-like, ascetic space. The said space is constructed mainly with the use of light, colour, music, but also interestingly stylized verbal creation.
