    dc.description.abstractThe article considers the main incoherences, which emerge from the meeting of dogmatic theology (theology of sacraments) and the Canon Law, general and detailed theology of sacraments (with reference to matrimony), and in the very sacramentological systematics of this sacrament. Particular focus is placed on the following problems: the significance of faith for the sacramentality of matrimony, the relation between natural and sacramental matrimony (Code of Canon Law, canon 1055), the relation between celebration of the sacrament and indissolubility of matrimony (the problem of unconsummated marriages), and the minister of the sacrament of matrimony. The article presents the background of the listed problems, their historical roots.pl

W latach 1991-1995 studia w Wyższym Śląskim Seminarium Duchownym w Katowicach kontynuowane w latach 1995-1999 na Papieskim Wydziale Teologicznym w Lugano (Szwajcaria) i zakończone licencjatem kanonicznym (L’esperienza mistica come locus theologicus. Status quaestionis). W latach 2000-2004 studia doktoranckie na Uniwersytecie Gregoriańskim w Rzymie zakończone obroną rozprawy Communicatio idiomatum. Lo scambio delle proprietà. Storia, status quaestionis e prospettive (2004). W latach 2004-2012 adiunkt i kierownik Pracowni Komputerowej w Zakładzie Teologii Dogmatycznej Wydziału Teologicznego Uniwersytetu Śląskiego. W latach 2008-2012 prodziekan ds. nauki tegoż Wydziału. W latach 2007-2011 redaktor prowadzący czasopisma „Teologia w Polsce”. Obecnie sekretarz II Synodu Archidiecezji Katowickiej. Główne zainteresowania badawcze: chrystologia, a zwłaszcza problemy współczesnych reinterpretacji klasycznej chrystologii dogmatycznej; historia teologii (metody teologicznej); kwestia związku teologii z doświadczeniem; wykorzystanie nowych technologii do wsparcia „warsztatu” teologicznego. Członek Towarzystwa Teologów Dogmatyków, Laboratorium Więzi.pl
