Body art - rudymenty doznań zmysłowych i emocjonalnych?

Abstract

In the paper, I will discuss the subject of body art. In the initiatory part he recalled the artistic activities of Hans Bellmer, Youri Messen Jaschin, David Dżalto, Stelarc and others. I will show how space and object (thing) during the "action of the body" became a source of sensory and emotional experiences. In conclusion, I will justify how body art works, having realized the ambiguity and processuality of research and the personal involvement of the subject in researching and acquiring knowledge of the object - the body that eventually turns out to be something more than a material or research tool, they initiated a series of artistic ventures experimenting with the boundaries of human sensory sensitivity.
