Autorzy: Харэўскі, Сяргей Abstrakt: The article is dedicated to the architecture of the Western Belarus in 1918–1939, as a distinctive phenomenon in the history of Belarusian architecture, reflecting the social and political background, artistic influences, and technical capabilities of the first half of the 20th century. The author considers a variety of architectural directions that were characteristic of a specific era in this region during the interwar period as part of the Polish state. Identifying the main trends in construction practice and their ideological and aesthetic directions, the author examines its features in the historical context, determining their place in the history of the Belarusian architecture of the recent past. The article analyzes the stages of the evolution of the interwar architecture and identifies the most distinctive monuments that characterize the various stylistic directions of that era.
