Autorzy: Maximovitch, Evguenia
Abstrakt: The process of vocabulary updating refers to the number of the most active processes in the present period of the Russian language development. The fundamental reasons of the updating of word units in Russian in the period of its development are the changes in social consciousness of native speakers of Russian - the updating of separate vocabulary units and the whole vocabulary layers takes place under the influence of certain extralinguistic factors. We treat the updating of word signs as the increase of their activity in language use in connection with the updating of their meanings. The updated are the word units that function as the most important for Russian social needs. There two fundamental categories of Russian updated vocabulary can be distinguished: 1)The words that belonged to the passive store in the Soviet period of the development et Russian language; 2)The words that did not possess temporal, functional, social or topical limits and that belong to the active language store. The development of vocabulary is connected with the changes in socio-political, economic and spiritual life of Russian society as well as with special updating of different ideas characterizing various areas of human activity.</description>
