Teologia jako nauka

Tytuł: Teologia jako nauka
Autorzy: Roux, René
Abstrakt: The article explores how theology functions within the scientific context. It begins by noting that Christian theology differs from the theology of other religions, as well as among its own branches, such as Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and Protestantism. Theology, viewed as a systematic study of Christian revelation, has a long history dating back to the 2nd century AD and was regarded as a science for many centuries. Currently, questions arise about its place in the academic environment and its adherence to scientific criteria. The article suggests that theology must justify its value both internally, in terms of research and teaching, and externally, in relation to other fields. Critics point out differences in theological methods of knowledge acquisition and challenges in adapting to scientific discoveries. Various theological approaches are discussed, ranging from Origen to contemporary thinkers who emphasize the importance of critical and systematic methodologies in theology. The concluding section reflects on the potential role of theology as a science, highlighting its potential for critical analysis of ideological and scientific narratives.

Tytuł: Perspektywy ewangelizacji w epoce cyfrowej
Autorzy: Zając, Marian
Abstrakt: The aim of the analysis presented in this article is to explore new ways of presenting religious content, which may respond to the growing secularization and the decline of traditional methods of acquiring religious knowledge among those who best navigate the digital culture. The primary method for addressing this issue will be the analysis of the educational potential of modern informational tools, which can significantly aid in fostering religious sensitivity and enable the teaching of faith truths. The presentation of how digital culture can be utilized demonstrates how, in times of secularization, the process of nurturing faith can be effectively extended using widely available digital methodological tools. The proposals for non-traditional use of electronic tools in religious education and their educational significance highlighted in this article may serve as valuable inspiration for those preparing religious education curricula. Although digital culture has dominated the functioning of individuals in the contemporary world, the call for a radical turn towards its potential in religious teaching remains an original proposition and may serve as an introduction to discussions about the future of religious education.

Tytuł: Prawo naturalne jako źródło norm prawa małżeńskiego w Kodeksie Prawa Kanonicznego z 1983 roku
Autorzy: Sulik, Tomasz
Abstrakt: The article undertakes the analysis of the presence of natural law norms in matrimonial canon law contained in the Code of Canon Law of 1983. The Church has its own legal system, and pointing to the sources of individual legal norms is still a topical issue. Natural law as one of the sources of human law is present in the marital law of the Catholic Church. In the definition of marriage, the church legislator points to natural law directing spouses to procreation and education of children. The law of nature is visible in the objectives of marriage, but also in various psychological conditions influencing the decision about marriage, as mentioned in can. 1095, as well as the error regarding the person mentioned in can. 1097 §1 of the Code of Canon Law. Certain impediments resulting from the invalidity of the sacrament also arise from natural law. This is an impediment of kinship in the direct line and in the second degree of collateral line, as well as an impediment of age, because the nature of marriage requires the spouses to achieve appropriate physical and mental maturity.

Tytuł: Rodzina obrazem Boga w świetle nauczania Jana Pawła II, a szczególnie Listu do Rodzin
Autorzy: Ozorowski, Mieczysław
Abstrakt: This article presents the concept of family as the image of God in light of the teachings of Pope John Paul II. The theological method of critical text analysis was used here. The concept of family as the image of God has accompanied Pope John Paul II from the beginning of his pontificate. Man is created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26). This issue has a long theological history, rooted in the Bible. The problem of man created in the image of God has not only an individual but also a communal dimension. The family as a community of persons is the image of God. This way of understanding this topic was presented by Pope John Paul II. The genius of this approach is clearly visible against the background of the traditional interpretation of the creation of man in the image and likeness of God.
