Philosophical integration of the human person: African standpoint

Tytuł: Philosophical integration of the human person: African standpoint
Autorzy: Jeko, Victor Ogheneochuko
Abstrakt: The human person has a definitional difficulty. One definition of the human person will be one sided. The human person reflects the philosophical analysis of manifold reciprocal relations and fundamental wholeness. The human person is a unique rational being who is very complex from the domain unified understanding of his nature. It constitutes a rational element and characterized by the social, physical, metaphysical, psychological, existential, global, dialogical, moral, and African plane. The human person is deeply rooted in the fundamental existential question of who he is, what he does governed by its rational ability, cognitive capacity and inter-subjective relation. The human person is both a spiritual and a material being, that is, he is characterized by soul and body. The human person is characterized by the stylization of rational conduct and common good or collective interests. We shall critically examine the psychological, ontological, global, dialogical dimension of the human person, this philosophical elucidation of these dimensions is not exhaustive, the human person can also be viewed from socio-political, moral religious and existential dimension.

Mircea Eliade i pojęcie archetypu

Tytuł: Mircea Eliade i pojęcie archetypu
Autorzy: Korczak, Andrzej
Abstrakt: The concept of archetype used by Eliade in religious science investigations derives from his meditational experiences. Eliade, in order to be better understood by Western scholars, referred to the archetype concept by Carl Gustav Jung and the concept of ideal type used by phenomenologists. However, one should not identify Jung's concept of archetype with that of Eliade's. With Jung, it has a psychological meaning, with Eliade a metaphysical one. However, according to the Romanian scholar, the same archetypes are basis of religious, esthetical and literary symbols. It is our intention which decides about how given symbol is to be understood. Any symbols however, owe their power just to the archetypes embedded in the structure of the human psyche.

Imagine Lenona oraz The Empathic Civilzation Rifkina jako przykłady nowoczesnych utopii (analiza porównawcza i krtyczna)

Tytuł: Imagine Lenona oraz The Empathic Civilzation Rifkina jako przykłady nowoczesnych utopii (analiza porównawcza i krtyczna)
Autorzy: Breczko, Jacek
Abstrakt: In this paper I write about two counterculture utopias: the vision contained in the songs of Lennon's Imagine and an extremely extensive synthesis Jeremy Rifkin, in which mirror neurons and – based on them – empathy play a leading role. I start with a presentation and a comparative analysis of these utopias. The first can be seen as a version of "mini", other than as a version of "maxi" similar worldview. This worldview is a synthesis of the hippie counterculture and the "new left" and can be described as the ideology of "political correctness". In conclusion, I will add a few critical remarks. Above all, I pointed out the serious consequences of the vision of a united humanity, deprived of property, national states and institutional religion.
