Abstrakt: In the recent months, we are witnessing a radical change of language in the area of public discourse. The aim of the paper is to assemble keywords of the people assembling around the so‑called good change (dobra zmiana) after the electoral victory of the Law and Justice party. The press and rhetoric materials of the last year have been used. The features of the good change discourse are illustrated with the examples taken from the weekly “W Sieci” and the portal “W polityce”, both founded by Jacek and Michał Karnowski, as well as quotations from the speeches of politicians of the victorious party, performing important public functions, such as: President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Beata Szydło, chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, deputy Krystyna Pawłowicz. The analysis of semantic and pragmatic properties of the text concerned the&#xD;
following terms: lewak, dobra zmiana, układ, establishment, grupy interesu, targowica, arogancja, histeria, strategia, suweren, audyt, drużyna, sort.</description>

Abstrakt: The article is dedicated to idiolectal dimensions of the language of the press, since in the author’s opinion the term idiolect cannot be applied to press texts. The author distinguishes the following manifestations of individualization (subjective earmarking) of press releases: (1) voices of participants of the presented events in journalisticized versions of informational genres, when an utterance (treated as the so‑called admitted voice) is of the private character or is an indicator of a language function; (2) voices of the characters of reportages or interviews, or persons portrayed in profiles; (3) different voices from non‑journalistic texts published in newspapers; (4) idiolectal stylizations; (5) journalistic creativity (authorial voices of columnists or commentators, or reporterists). Detailed analyses refer to the phenomena distinguished in points one and five.</description>

Abstrakt: The article discusses – on the example of Zagłoba’s language – characteristics of the 17th-century gentry sociolect. Particular attention was paid to two aspects of this variant of Polish: Polish‑Latin melange (the so‑called use of macaronics in one of the meanings of this term accepted by C. Backvis) being the result of bilingualism typical of nearly the whole gentry, and the other characteristic feature of the gentry&#xD;
sociolect – in reference to the borderline gentry – Polish‑Ruthenian melange resulting from historical circumstances of the 16th century, when Ruthenian began influencing Polish in a deeper way.</description>
