Tytuł: Wybrane zagadnienia w obszarze badań jakościowych nad niepełnosprawnością intelektualną Autorzy: Juszczak, Justyna Abstrakt: Artykuł prezentuje refleksje na temat badań jakościowych nad niepełnosprawnością intelektualną. Zwrócono w nim uwagę, jaką rolę odgrywają badania jakościowe w podnoszeniu jakości życia osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną. Szczególnie zaznaczono wartość podejścia jakościowego dla wzmacniania działań i rozwiązań praktycznych. Wskazano na aspekt podmiotowy (upełnomocnienia) osoby z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w prowadzeniu badania jakościowych. Badany i badacz swoje relacje opierają na wzajemnym zrozumieniu oraz szacunku. Pozycja tego pierwszego w eksploracji fenomenu niepełnosprawności intelektualnej ma za zadanie przede wszystkim zwracać uwagę na jej miejsce w środowisku społecznym. Natomiast podejmowane działania poznawcze powinny być traktowane jako rekomendacja dla poprawy wsparcia i rozwoju osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną oraz ich najbliższych.; The article reflects on qualitative research on intellectual disabilities. The peculiarities of the field of research, concerning the experience and experiences of people with intellectual disabilities, are addressed. Attention is given to the role that qualitative research plays in the perspective of improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. In particular, the value of qualitative approaches for strengthening activities and practical solutions was pointed out. The subjective aspect (empowerment) of a person with intellectual disabilities in conducting a qualitative study was pointed out. The respondent and the researcher base their relationship on mutual understanding and respect. The position of a researcher in the exploration of the phenomenon of intellectual disability is primarily intended to draw attention to its presence in the social environment. In addition, the cognitive activities undertaken should be a recommendation for improving the support and development of people with intellectual disabilities and their relatives.

Tytuł: Long term changes of crustacean zooplankton communities in Lake Wigry as a response to changing trophic conditions - 100 years of observations Autorzy: Moroz, Joanna; Karpowicz, Maciej; Górniak, Andrzej; Smolska, Sabina Abstrakt: Wigry Lake has one of the longest zooplankton data sets in Poland and has been investigated for over 100 years. Therefore, our goal was to present long-term changes in zooplankton structures against the background of changing trophic conditions. The species composition of crustacean zooplankton in the first half of the 20ᵗʰ century was typical for a large mesotrophic lake, with a high share of Oaphnia cucullata and stenotherm species: Eurytemora lacustris, Heterocope appendiculata, Cyclops lacustris, Bythotrephes brevimanus, Oaphnia longiremis. The results of the research from the years 1965-1985 were very pessimistic, because the lake was exposed to intense eutrophication and there were important changes in zooplankton communities. The glacial relicts and species characteristic for low trophic condtions declined, while the share of species typical for high trophic conditions (Mesocyclops leuckarti, Thermocyclops oithonoides, Oiaphanosoma brachyurum) increased. As a result, species characteristic for eutrophic conditions made up to 70% of crustacean zooplankton, when in 1921 their share did not exceed 25%. The results of hydrochemical and biological studies of the last 30 years indicate a gradual tendency to improve the trophic state of Lake Wigry, due to biomanipulation activities carried out in the lake and its catchment area. We also have observed a marked increase in the occurrence of glacial relicts and the dominance of large Oaphnia individuals, which indicates an improvement in water quality.
