Tytuł: Semantyka i konotacje referencjalnych luk leksykalnych w perspektywie kontrastywnej Autorzy: Szerszunowicz, Joanna Abstrakt: The paper discusses lexical lacuanae, i.e. gaps, of referential character in a crosslinguistic and cross-cultural perspective. The brief presentation of the phenomenon of lacunarity is followed by the description of equivalence and its kinds, i.e. systematic and translational. Then the typology of systematic equivalents is characterised and the notion of translational equivalent is explained. The core part of the paper is composed of case studies, in which three Polish lexical units of lacunary character are analyzed (moher, słoik, Warszawka/warszawka) with a view of determining their systematic and translational equivalents.

Tytuł: Kasza i krupa – rozważania nad historią wyrazów w języku polskim w świetle badań leksykograficznych Autorzy: Stokowska, Sylwia Abstrakt: The article is devoted to the reflection on the history of words kasza and krupa, and their groups of expression in the context of lexicography. The author shows how to change the range of formative nest and the importance of formative individual words. The longest functioning lexemes are words kasza and krupa. The families of both lexical words included the names of the people making or selling kasza and krupy. In the history of slots, formative both words can be seen that the change occurred in their area. The biggest development of the families was observed at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Currently, expressive circles are reduced.

Tytuł: Bogactwo leksykalne XIX-wiecznych inwentarzy z terenu Podlasia Autorzy: Kuć, Joanna Abstrakt: Inventories are important documents for researchers of many disciplines. For philologists, the advantage of this type of source is the diversity and abundance of linguistic material, which provides a reliable basis for the quantitative and qualitative assessment of the historical lexical Polish language, occurring in the broader usual context. The analyzed documents from the 1st half of the 19th century and the territory limited to the borderline areas of Podlasie allow for recalling with high precision the image of contemporary earthly possessions with their specific buildings, their spatial structure, a variety of movable and immovable property, their parts and details, household and farm, some technical solutions no longer practiced nowadays. Then there are the names of the duties on the manor, the names of weights and measures, professions, especially crafts and dignity of the city and the countryside. From the lists, one can also learn about the types of crops, number and type of belongings, furniture, home accessories, decorative items (coats of arms, portraits, paintings, books), dishes and other everyday objects.
