Mur a polsko-niemieckie związki w przestrzeni kultury i literatury Autorzy: Zduniak-Wiktorowicz, Małgorzata Abstrakt: How are “old and proven” models of the metaphorisation of space, in certain aspects common for Poles and Germans (east-west, iron curtain, life in the shade of the wall) used in the latest Polish prose? Literature created twenty years after the democratic breakthrough in Europe, the collapse of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany, still strictly sticks to old models of “spatialisation” of culture, but basing on them, it attempts to break this bipolar approach and pass from a general experience of cultural space towards its individualisation.

Tytuł: Nie-miejsce pod arkadyjskim szyldem Autorzy: Mikołajczak, Małgorzata Abstrakt: The article concerns the adaptation of the Arcadian metaphor at the Polish Recovered Territories in the aspect of the “non-place” and concentrates mostly on literary examples of the parallel between the “non-place” (according Marc Aug´e) and Ziemia Lubuska. The reflections are based on the works of prose by regional writers published in the postwar period – when the process of settlement was completed (the 1960s and 70s) and it commenced its transformation into a literary legend.
