Wymiary religijności nauczycieli

Abstract

Przedmiotem rozprawy jest religijność nauczycieli (rozumiana jako subiektywnie definiowana, przeżywana i realizowana postawa osoby względem religii i rzeczywistości nadprzyrodzonej). Fundament teoretyczny dysertacji został zbudowany w oparciu o funkcjonalne koncepcje religii i religijności w socjologii (m.in. T. Luckmanna, R. N. Bellaha) oraz idee psychologów humanistycznych (m.in. A. Maslowa, E. Fromma, R. Maya). Religijność nauczycieli analizowano w kontekście czterech wymiarów życia: indywidualnego, rodzinnego, społecznego oraz zawodowego. Badano sposób w jaki religijność przejawia się w wymienionych wymiarach życia nauczycieli oraz jakie ma dla nich znaczenie. Procedura badawcza została zaprojektowana w orientacji ilościowo-jakościowej. Wśród metod badawczych znalazł się sondaż diagnostyczny oraz metoda biograficzna. Dysertacja składa się z ośmiu rozdziałów. Dwa pierwsze rozdziały stanowią część teoretyczną rozprawy i opisują definicje, koncepcje i teorie dotyczące religii i religijności. Rozdział trzeci prezentuje założenia metodologiczne dysertacji oraz wykaz problemów badawczych, zmiennych i wskaźników, a także opis terenu badań i charakterystykę grupy badawczej. Pozostałe rozdziały zawierają wyniki badań empirycznych. Rozprawę wieńczy podsumowanie oraz refleksje dla praktyki pedagogicznej.

The subject of the dissertation is a religiousness of teachers (understood as the attitude which is subjectively defined, been affected by and carried out of the person with regard to the religion and supernatural reality). The theoretical basis of the dissertation was built on functional concepts of the religion and the religiousness in sociology (i.a. T. Luckmann, R. N. Bellah) and ideas of humanistic psychologists (i.a. A. Maslow, E. Fromm, R. May). The religiousness of teachers was being analysed in the context of four dimensions of the life: individual, family, social and professional. A way into which the religiousness manifests itself in those dimensions of the life of teachers was being studied as well as the meaning it has for them. The research procedure was designed in the quantitative-qualitative orientation. A diagnostic survey and a biographical method were among research methods. The dissertation consists of eight chapters. The two first chapters constitute the theoretical part of the dissertation and are describing definitions, concepts and the theories concerning the religion and religiousness. The third chapter is presenting methodological assumptions of the dissertation and the list of research problems, variables and indicators, as well as the description of the scope of research and characteristics of the research group. Remaining chapters contain empirical findings. A summary and reflection for the pedagogic practice are finishing the dissertation.
